Abstract: In this paper, SRAP was used to assess the genetic relationship of 34 Tillandsia varieties. Ten pairs of primers were selected. 402 bands were amplified, of which 376 bands(94%)were polymorphic, and the Nei′s genetic similarity coefficients ranged from 0.134 3-0.955 6. According to the UPGMA method,we made the cluster analysis by using the NTSYS software,34 Tillandsia plants could be divided into four groups at the similarity coefficient of 0.78.The geographical distribution was a principal factor for the cluster result. The experiment indicated that Tillandsia juncea and T. subgen. Anoplophytum had close relationship.
