Abstract

Abstract: Field investigation was carried out on the current situation of Meishan Island’s ornamental plants.Through it, recording the species and growth status. And using analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the value of plants. Then dividing the evaluation results into 3 types by the K-means cluster.According to the evaluation results,selecting excellent ornamental plants which suit for the special environment of Meishan Island.To provide theoretical guidance for the plant landscape’s transformation and optimization of Meishan Island.The evaluation results show that Elaeocarpus decipiens,Teucrium fruticans and other 24 kinds of plants, which belong to the first level have great promotion application value in Meishan Island.The plants belong to the second level should maintain the status or improve slightly, and the third should reduce the ratio.
