Abstract: This paper investigated fed-batch and periodic harvest of enzyme for cellulase production by Trichoderma reesei. The results showed that the best feeding rate was 5.5 g/(L·d)cellulose per day, and the filter paper activity and β-glucosidase were 14.40 U/mL and 1.59 U/mL after 8 days of cultivation. Based on fed-batch, when harvesting enzyme at the 4th, 6th, 8th day, the total filter paper activity improved by 18.14%. When harvesting at the 4th,7th day, the total filter paper activity improved by 17.75%. When harvesting at the 5th,8th day, the total filter paper activity improved by 27.35%.This paper concluded that periodic harvest of enzyme could improve the total filter paper activity efficiently.
