Abstract: When the resistivity of wood is measured, the results vary with the time of measurement because of the affection of absorption current. In order to get the true resistance independent of the time of measurement, both the charge and discharge curves arc recorded with a recording meter. By subtracting one from the other and then calculating the data available the true resistivity of wood is obtained.
