Abstract: The wing-typed separating water boom is the guide inetauation of wood-floatage. It can be used on the riverdriving as a new kind of guide boom. It has various functions. It can both guide floating log to avoid being stranded and log jam and guide floating log to go forward along determined direction. So it can increases the floating ability ability of the river. In the driving routes of stopping and holding woods together, it guides floating log into retardant engineering. At the same time, adjusts the number of the floating log into retardant engineering. Further more it is applicable in the high speed rivers over 3 m/s. It is its particular functions that the wing-typed separating water boom is superior to other kinds of boom.The structure of the wing-typed separating water boom is the only one at home and abroad now.A series of monogragraphic study on the type of the boom structure are done by boom-model hydraulie testing and this article describes the studied results so as to popularize and apply it so as to popularize further.
