This paper presents and develops a new type of sawdust collecting apparatus with variable air quantity with a receiver, Which can be used in woodworking shops where machines are operated in a low utilization ratio. In the article, a comprehensive measurement on performance of this appartatus and theoretical discussion about the results have been made. The results have shown that this new type of sawdust collecting apparatus has both high flexibility in practice and more value for saving energy, and is worth researching.
