Abstract: In terms of addition of Chemicals as catcher such as urea to resin, the formaldehyde emission of particleboard could be reduced. But there are not any negative effects on physical and mechanical properties of board. In this paper, the efficiency reducing formeldehyde emission of particleboard is quantitatively tested by a gas-analysis method.
