Abstract: Insect aggregation pheromones in twelve families and six orders, including Blattaridae, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Hyminoptera and Orthoptera, which are mainly forest pests, have been studied in foreign countries. In the paper, the results are reviewed on roles in nature, production and release, sensory perception of aggregation pheromones and insect orintation behavior.
