Abstract

A fine strain of cellulolytic fungus Trichoderma viride NF4 was screened out in comparisonwith over 40 cellulolytic strains at home and abroad. NF4 produced high cellulase and hemicellulase onuntreated rice straw powder in solid state fermentation. The cellulase yields of 45 IU/g.·d were quitehigh. The optimum pH and temperature for its collulase activity are PH 4. 8 and 60℃.
