Four factors affecting adventitious shoot formation on the explants of Ficus carica were studied.They were different organs,composition of culture medium,different cutivar and pre-treatmentof explant.The addition of 6-benzylamino-purine(BA)to the culture medium was more effectivethan the addition of 6-furfurylaminopurine(KT).Formation of adventitious on shoot tip and stemshoot were cultured with full MS+BA 1 mg.·L~(-1).Plantlet formation on leaves occurred on MS+BA8 mg·L~(-1).Gibbrerellic acid(0.5～1 mg·L~(-1) can help bud germination and growth.The cuttingsof young shoot were cultured with 1/2 MS with the addition of IBA or NAA(1.0～2.0 mg·L~(-1) ).The root-primordia induced rate will reach 95%,and the survival rate of transplantation will reach90%.
