Abstract: The rack tests of automobile braking effect are carried out on a braking experimental device. But the rack tests have only given the seatic parameters of automobile braking effect, and the determination of trouble still requires manual work. The authors have established, with the aid of computers, an automatic diagnosis system of automobile braking device which includes signal sampling, data processing, and trouble determining and displaying. The system can improve the efficiency and the accuracy of trouble diagnosis.
