A STUDY ON THE WOOD STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF DABIESHAN SOFT PINE

Abstract

Six trees of Dabieshan soft pine were collected as testing material. The anatomical characters, physico_mechanical properties, chemical components of wood have systematically been studied. Based on the wood properties, the timber is suitable to be used for hight_quality furniture, decoration and wooden modle.
