A STUDY OF TIMBER MOTIVE REGULARITY ON CHUTE

Abstract

The chute is one of common facilities at skidding in forest and timber transportation by water. The timber motive regularity and dynamic states on chute were studied according to the basic principle of dynamics. Authors put forward the velocity relation of timbers on vertical curve section of chute. It provides a basis for the design of chute. 
