Abstract: The micronutrients(B,Mo,Cu,Zn,Fe and Mn)in soils, the tree foliage of the current year and the litter from 14 plots were analysed to study their geochemistry’s traits and distribution in the Parent rock-Soil-Forest system in the southern forestry areas of China. The plots were selected on the basis of different parent rocks and different stands. The results showed that the total contents of various micronutrients in soils were mainly affected by the types of parent rocks, the traits of weathering and soil formation, and their available concentrations were obviously influenced by the types of stand, besides the parent rocks. There were notable linear correlations between the total content of Mo,Cu,Zn,Mn in soils and their available concentration, respectively; but the same correlation or other non-linear correlations did not occur in Fe. The available concentrations of B in soils of those plots stayed around 030mg·kg-1,no matter how much their total contents were. The effects of parent rocks on the contents of various micronutrients, took place not only in soils but also in litters of the corresponding stands.
