Abstract

The nutrient status of pure Chinese fir, masson pine, Schima superba and their mixed forests were studied The results showed that the contents of organic matter, total N, K, available N, K, Cu, Zn and Mn in the soil under the stand of Chinese fir were the highest Those in soil of Schima superba were the third The contents of available P, Fe and total Ca and Mg in soil of masson pine forest were the highest while those in soil of Schima superba forest were the lowest Their mixed forests regulated the contents of soil nutrient, and improved soil properties and tree growth
