Abstract: The normal property for a few kinds of activated carbons derived from different starting materials and activation methods, and their pore structure have been determined. The relationship between the Iodine number,Methylene blue adsorption,Caramel adsorption and the pore structure of activated carbon have been analyzed. It is concluded that the adsorptivity for this three adsorbentes is dependent on the activated carbon pore volume of such radius about 0.55nm,about 0.8nm or above 1.4nm.
