Abstract: The tweleve strains of Beauveria bassiana were tested on colony growth, sporogenous ability, spore germination rate, heat resistant, ultaviolet resistant and virulence to Monochamus alternatus . The result showed that B xs and F 263 strains were the most virulent to Monochamus alternatus and the best on other characters. Compared with them B xs strain was better in sporogenous and ultaviolet resistant ability, and had a real significance in bio control of Monochamus alternatus.
