We investigated the general situation of Lianshui Bird Nature Reserve and the status of Chinese Egretta, Egretta eulophotes .The results show that the population of Chinese Egretta increases quickly.In this paper,16 orders,34 families,115 species of birds were reported.There are about 20?000 birds totally in the nature reserve.Among these birds, there are about 12?000 Chinese Egretta.The authors also made the evaluation on the wetland and protection of birds in the nature reserve.
