This paper presents the basic principle and method for forestation environmental planning in the planning of rural villeges and towns, with a base study of the small town in the south of Jiangsu province. It puts forward the basic principle, the principle of distribution and the species of forestation trees chosen. It concludes that the forestation planning should set about to collect data and analyze the status of the forestation, and then present the scheme and guarantee measures of the forestation.
