Priority of Occupational Accidents by Woodworking Machine and its Prevention

Abstract

A investigation of occupational accidents in the woodworking factories shows that the circu- lar saws,planers and spindle moulders are three kinds of machine with the highest accidents record. Their accidents make up 28%,25 % and 14 % of all mechanical accidents. The analysis of accident haz- ard shows that 43% and 39 % of the circular saws accidents were caused chiefly by saw blade and the slide table of circular saws, 28% of all accidents from the three kinds of machine were caused for lack of safety knowledge and 24% of all accidents were caused because of violating safety regulations.
