The mathematical model was established according to the structural character of horse-hoof-shaped leg by using parameter modelling method which was based on character line of shape. With the analysis on the size of the horse-hoof-shaped leg,the relationship of the typical size was shown. The practical models were de- signed according to the method of shaping NURBS curve and surface. They were very effective for primary de- sign,model establishment,modifying and comparing of projects,as well as for dynamic design. It also can be a basis for consequent dealing module,such as programming for NC machine,etc.
