This paper has suggested restoration ways of degraded ecosystems in Karst areas on the basis of the habitat and structural and functional properties of primitive Karst forest ecosystems.The artificially promoted natural restoration and man made restoration on steep slopes and agroforestry system establishment have been included.Furthermore,silvicultural and forest management techniques were also proposed for better vegetation restoration while ecological,economic and social profits of vegetation restoration were analyzed.Finally,some suggestions were also presented on future research,policies and management demands in reafforestation projects on farming steep lands.
