The advances of baldcypress on salt tolerance,flood tolerance and pollution tolerance were reviewed from physiology,growth,morphology and anatomy in this thesis,and the resistances of baldcypress were also concluded preliminary.The baldcypress is a high flood tolerance tree species,and this may be associated with the rapid recover of stomatal conductance,transpiration and photosynthesis after the removal of flooding.The salt tolerance of baldcypress from different area is also different,but they all have a good pollution tolerance. 
