Based on the information,the concept of microfibril angle,the relationship between microfibril angle and wood property,the methodology for measuring microfibril angle,variation dynamics of microfibril angle,the factors affecting microfibril angle variation and the future research prospects are discussed.In order to strengthen the competition ability and oriental cultivation,more effort is devoted to the genetic improvement and cultivation of tree species,so as to make the timber culture combined with demand of end products to wood property in wood industry.
