City square is the node of city space,the carrier for urban residential activities,the material environmental space involving urban history and culture.The landscape designers have attached more and more importance to the design research on city squares.From the point of view on material environment construction,the author preliminarily probes into the space scale,accessibility,natural landscape and other aspects about designing construction in order to provide directions,which deserves attention,and the theoretical basis for construction and design of city squares.
