Abstract: In vitro seedling leaves were used as explants to study the shoot inducing and plant regeneration of E. camaldulensis. The inducing rate of the adventitious shoot was 35. 4% when the explants were cultured on medium of MS+0. 8 mg/L BA+0. 3 mg/L KT+0.05 mg/L NAA,but the inducing rate could be stimulated up to 42.9% when medium of MS+0. 8 mg/L BA+0.05 mg/L TDZ+0. 1 mg/L NAA was used. A ten-day darkness culture could improve the adventitious shoot inducing and the explants from more tender leaves were easier to induce the shoots. The shoots with 2~3 cm length were cultured on the rooting medium and the rooting rate of 100% could.be obtained 30 days later. The transplanting rates of rooted shoots were over 80%.
