Abstract

Classical theory and first-order shearing theory were performed to predict the mechanical property of wood-bamboo composite panel. Stress and deflection of the span-centre were calculated. The finite element method(FEM) was also be used to research this bending issue, and compared the results with the theory results. The results of calculation demonstrated that FEM had adequate precision for research wood-bamboo composite panel bending problem.
