Abstract

According to karyotype analysis, caryotype formula of Sophora davidii was shown to have karyotype K(2n)=2x=18=14m (8SAT) +4sm, which belongs to 2A type. The absolute lengths of chromosomes of S. davidii rang from 2.34μm to 2.97μm. S. davidii can nodulate in field. Cassia canyrnbosa was found to have the karyotype K (2n)=2x=28m (4SAT), which belongs to 1A type. The absolute lengths of chromosomes of C. canymbosa range from 1.48 to 2.19μm, C. canymbosa can not nodulate in field.
