The new revised technical specification of Inventory for Forest Planning and Design published and implemented by State Forestry Administration in 2003, was made the experiment in Chun’an county Zhejiang province, in order to identify if it is available and applied or not. New contents such as theories of Forestry Classification Management and inventory for forest ecological conditions are added in this specification. It also provides a scientific classification on land types and forest categories. In addition, the authors emphasized some problems such as surveying of bush forest and calculating of forest coverage to which should be paid more attention.
