Abstract

Based on the data collected from plots of Tilia miqueliana community, the natural secondary forest in Nanjing Mr. Niushou Forest Park, the floristic composition and characteristics, composition and features, spatial structure and succession tendency were analyzed. The flora was characterized with obvious tropical nature, but the temperate floristic elements occupied a certain proportion. The xylophyte dominated in the community, which was divided into three distinct layers: tree, shrub and herb layers. The community could still remain the stable structure features of deciduous broad-leaved forest, but the plantation of Phyllostachys edulis, which has invaded the community, would threaten the progressive succession of T. miqueliana if without being cut artificially.
