Abstract: Taking the measure of many sampling plots’ collector which was periodical, accurate and fix-spotted,this paper deals with the annual variation feature of litter and nutrient restitution in three kinds of density stand from 14-year-old Pinus massoniana. The results showed that with the increasing of density, the annual amount of litterfall was 2 74S. 821~4 911. 179 kg/(hm2? a) respectively. The annual restitution amount of N,P,K,Ca and Mg in litter was 15.558~27.374 kg/(hm2? a), 1.437~2.900 kg/(hm2?a), 12.393~2,5. 365 kg/(hm2? a),10. 850~22. 056 kg/(hm2? a) and 2. 487~3. 278 kg/(hm2? a). The seasonal dynamics of forest litter and nutrient restitution was in the order of autumn, winter, summer, spring. Except for Mg, the bigger the density of plantation was, the more the amount of seasonal litterfall and nutrient restitution was.
