Abstract

The relationship between the development of Micromelalopha troglodyta and factots of climate and environment were studied by investigating the field, attracting adults with kill worm lights and feeding in the door. The results showed that the development of eggs, larva and pupa, and number of adults emerged were affected by the change of average tent perature. The pest likes droughty environment, plenty of rainfall was not propitious to the pest growth, but was propitious to the oceurring of granulosis virus. Warm winter, drought and high temperature could lead to severe disasters. Trichogramma closterae, T. dew, droll+mi,Tetrastichus nigricoxae, and granulosis virus are the important natural enemies, which could control the pest.
