Abstract

The cause of transverse cracks in the road surface of Ning-Su-Xu highway was ana- lyzed. The result of early cracks in asphalt pavements was illustrated. Some practical meth- ods of road surface maintenance and crack-repair were summarized. The slotting method was introduced in detail.
