Abstract: Bleaching properties of KP pulp of Larix kaempJeri were investigated in order to understand physical properties of L. kaempJeri pulp. The results showed that the whiteness of bleaching pulp could reach 71% (ISO) after three stages bleaching of general CEH, where the most effective dosage of chlorine and NaOH was 8%, 2.5%, respectively. The whitenessof pulp could reach 81%(ISO) after the bleaching of CDEaD when the most effective dosage of chlorine was 9% and the reasonable dosage of NaOH on EH stage 2%. Both bleaching procedures could reach 82% (ISP) with the total effective dosage of chlorine 7.9%; after the bleaching of D/CE1D1E2D2 and DE1D, E2D2. The whiteness of pulp could reach 76.6%(ISO) from 27.3%(ISO) by a procedure of oxygen bleaching with enhanced H2O2 and bleaching with two stage H2O2 (OPQP1P2).
