Abstract

Through tissue isolation and plate dilution, 891 bacteria isolations were obtained from healthy and diseased leaves of pines. By the dural culture method on PDA plates with pathogens, 16 bacteria isolates had strong antagonism against Sphaeropsis sapinea. Under artificial inoculation 10 representative strains were used on the seedling of pines in green house for identifying their biocontrol effects on S. sapinea. Three (Strain number N29, M (2) 21 and S (1) 102) of 10 isolates had both good roles on PDA plates and seedlings of pine trees. The diameters of their inhabit circle were respectively 28.5, 31, 37.5mm and protective effection to the seedlings of pine was over 60%. The result of pathogenicity test demonstrated that they had no harmful influence to the seedling of pine.
