Abstract

By using the geographic information system (GIS) and remote sensing (RS) and the fundamentals of landscape ecology, at the same time the high-resolution data of QuickBird satellite image as the main information source. landscape patterns of the urban green space in Shenzhen city were analyzed in this paper. The results shnwed that the whole green space coverage reached 51.36% in Shenzhen city, but the structure of green space landscape was unreasonable with the higher fragmentation and lower fractal dimension. Some construction proposals of Shenzhen city were proposed in light of these current states.
