Abstract: Pine was an important pioneer tree for afforestation and landscape greening in China. But during recently years, pine wilting of unclear cause and with different appearances was observed in many places. Various species of parasitic nematode were found in wilting pine trees. In this paper, species of parasitic nematode in pine hrost and their pathogenicity were reviewed. Up to now, forty-two species and eleven indeterminatae species, which belong to eleven genus,.were found in China. Besides Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, some species such as B. mucronatus and B. sexdentati could cause a little damage to some species pine trees.
