Abstract: Heteroptera diversities in 7 plantation communities were surveyed using sample plot investigation method in Yuanmou Arid-hot Valley. Yunnan. 928 Heteroptera individuals of 45 species were collected. The specie richness, Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou index were the highest, but Simpson index was the least in Pinus yunnanensis and Azadirachta indica plantation. While these indexes were the contrary with above two plots in Dichotomanthus tristaniaecarpa-Vitex negundo natural regenerated forest. Results showed that measurment of natural regeneration had actively effect on Heteroptera diversity in the habitats severely degraded in Yuanmou Arid-hot Valley. The habitats of 7 investigated plots are different each other.
