Abstract: The distribution characteristics of the elements in the rhizosphere and root tissue of Pinus koraiensis were studied by electron probe Xray microanalysis in this paper. The results showed that the contents of N, P, K, Ca, S in the rhizosphere soil were all lower than that in the root tissue, while the contents of Fe in the rhizosphere soil was higher than that in the root tissue. The contents of P, K in the root tissues increased from the root surface to interior of the roots gradually. On the contrary, the contents of N, Ca, Fe in the root tissues decreased from root surface to interior gradually. The magnitude of the rootsoil ecological interface and mechanism by which the elements were transported might be explained largely by means of the gradient distribution of the elements in the rhizosphere soil and the root tissue.
