Abstract

The thermal conductivity of the finite length quasi1D carbon chains with the TersoffBrenner bond order potential had been numerically calculated by the molecular dynamics method. It was found that the thermal conductivity κ was very high at room temperature and diverges as the chain length, which follows a logarithmic behavior.
