Abstract

Forest ecosystem management is a complex systematic project, the boundary of forest ecosystem management involved forest plant system, socialeconomical system and abiological environment system. Based on the theories of landscape ecological and sustainable development, the principles for forest ecosystem management were put forward, including 5 principles as dominant functions principle, function integrality principle and sustainable development principle, et al. According to these principles and factors of nature, society and other economic, the forest ecosystems were divided into 16 management types by “forest objective + forest types” and “function + landscape”. The forest ecosystems management types were divided into 2 groups, included 5 subgroups, by principal component analysis and cluster analysis in the trial area. The managing measures were put forth for these groups.
