The ecological transition analysis of urban green space construction —a case study on the 2010 World EXPO in Shanghai

Abstract: The paper presents that the ecological transition of urban green space is a necessary under the interaction of urban modernization construction and urban ecological environment. The guidance of government leading concepts, the development of ecodesign thought and the powerful support of science and technology, these all impel the transition of green ecological construction based on the theory and practice. And the end, taking the sustainable construction of green space in the 2010 World EXPO site in Shanghai as an example, the paper analyzed its sustainable development problems on the stage of planning control, integrated application of ecological technology,the afteruse stage and management of EXPO greenspace project. We should take the urban ecological landscape construction as an important task in the process of urbanization, and construct landscape which is ecology healthy, economical, beneficial for human culture experience and selfdevelopment, and promote the ecological transition of urban green space construction in practice.
