Abstract: Based on analyzing the features of intelligent plant protection machinery, several specialized databases were put forward, including the meteorological database, forest pests and diseases management database, and plant protection machinery database. Decision tree based on induction was designed, which used temperature, humidity, wind speed and pesticide formulations to influence the pesticide application, transferring among all databases was also realized by using VB. Plant protection machinery decision support system oriented to different space, time and actual condition was created. This part of the project provided a case study showing how to treat forestry pests and diseases effectively by using proper sciences and technologies.
