Aimed to analyze the health status of forest in Zhejiang province, we studied different forests including pine forests, broadleaved forest, coniferous and broadleaved mixed forest and moso bamboo forest . Using analytical hierarchy process through selecting fifteen simple and standard index, we calculated the forest stand health index and then analyzed the health status of different types of forest stand. According to our study, the health index of different forest types are listed in a descending row as: coniferous and broadleaved mixed forest, broadleaved forest, pine forests and moso bamboo forest.
