The health index system of different forest types in Zhejiang province

Abstract

Aimed to analyze the health status of forest in Zhejiang province, we studied different forests including pine forests, broadleaved forest, coniferous and broadleaved mixed forest and moso bamboo forest . Using analytical hierarchy process through selecting fifteen simple and standard index, we calculated the forest stand health index and then analyzed the health status of different types of forest stand. According to our study, the health index of different forest types are listed in a descending row as: coniferous and broadleaved mixed forest, broadleaved forest, pine forests and moso bamboo forest.
