Abstract: According to the survey data of 290 valuationareas and the stand denstity effect model, to aim at maximum yield for stand plywood timber and to deduce the optimum planting density model. Through fitting the model, planting density of plywood timber forest of poplar clone I-69 should be not more than 286 trees per hm2. The land with site index not more than 16m is not suited to management of plywood timber forest. For the sake of practice basic objective of cultivation plywood timber D>26. 8 cm, stand dominant height should be more than 28.9 m. The best to select land with site index is more than or equal to 20m for management of plywood timber forest of poplar clone I-69. On the condition of 18, 20, 22 m site indices, the shortest rotation fitted with cultivation objective of plywood timber forest of poplar clone I-69 is 11, 10, 9 years respectively;the most plantng density is 257,240,236 trees per hm2 respectively.
