Abstract: Weibull distributions were fitted to diameter freqency data sets. The Weibull function was found very suitable. Parameter prediction models (PPM) and parameter recovery models (PRM) were developed based on the three Weibull distribution parameters and stand attributes. By the error test, estimated precision of the PRM was better than the PPM.
