Abstract: To investigate the habit of Tetrastichus zanthoxylumii and provide theoretical basis for their reproduction and utilization, this paper observed its activity rhythm, feeding behavior, oviposition behavior, and the influence of inducing facts to the activity. The results showed that the daily activity rhythm was of “M” type. T.zanthoxylumii fed on honey smeared around old damaged bark in field. The average time of oviposition behavior was (149.2±65.8)s, including location, probing, oviposition, and modification or taking rest. The attractive effect of old damagebark had a very significant difference with that of new damagebark, healthy bark, blade back and foliar.
