Abstract: A high efficiency associative nitrogen-fixing bacteria B7-7 was isolated and screened from the rhizosphere of Camellia oleifera. The result of 16SrDNA sequence phylogenetic analysis showed that: Phylogeny based on 16SrDNA sequence of B7-7 shared 99% DNA homology and similarity with Sphingobium yanoikuyae. Based on the analysis results of morphology, physiology, biochemical property, and 16SrDNA sequencing, B7-7 was identified as Sphingobium sp..
