Abstract

This paper reports on the study of the Phyllostachys pubescens boring mechanism by floating-knifes cutting. From several types of the floating-knifes cutting mechanisms, two effective ones in simple constraction of low cost and with excellent performance were selected and analysed studied and compared in detail.
