Abstract: The efficiency of belt drives depends on three parts: (1) elasticity of belt and elastic creep; (2) air friction; (3) bearing friction. There is a great need for the calculation of most adventageous efficiency of belt drives to re-duce the loss of input power. So the article is presented for this purpose.
